With the USA and Israel seeking to disable the International Criminal Court and seemingly “forever wars” raging between Russia and Ukraine and in the Middle East are war crimes and genocide being normalised?
And can international law still prevail?
On Tuesday 29 September the AEJ UK will host a discussion with Veronika Fikfak, UCL Professor of Human Rights and International Law, and acclaimed war reporter Fergal Keane.
Professor Fikfak is co-director of the UCL Institute for Human Rights, a judge ad hoc at the European Court of Human Rights, and a member of the Advisory Committee to the UN Human Rights Council.
Fergal Keane is an award-winning journalist and author.
