The launch of the annual report of the Council of Europe’s Safety of Journalists Platform will be live streamed from the Brussels Press Club on Wednesday 27 April.
The 2022 report titled “Defending Press Freedom in Times of Tension and Conflict” highlights key areas of law, policy and practice affecting media freedom and safety of journalists in Europe and identifies actions required to improve effective protection of journalists.
