Trump says he’s barring 3 major media groups from the White House

USA President Donald Trump says he is barring CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House due to what he called unfavourable coverage and “fake news”.
And in a post on September 18 on his social media site called “Truth Social”, he threatened more such media bans.

When asked, he mentioned the New York Times and The Washington Post, and did not specify particular news reports but said his action was the result of “cumulative stories over the last few years.”
Trump’s latest attack on media coverage he doesn’t like came some weeks ahead of voting in midterm elections on November 3 in which Trump’s fellow Republicans are defending narrow majorities in Congress.
Multiple public opinion polls have shown declining approval ratings for Trump.

CNN, MS Now, and Politico all defended their reporting as fair and noted their rights to freedom of the press guaranteed under the American Constitution’s First Amendment.
