Must Europe and the West accommodate the demands of countries in the Global South for a greater say in global decisions?
If so, how?
How might that challenge affect the tense standoff between the West and the “unlimited” partnership of Russia and China?
On March 19 the AEJ UK will host a lunch meeting with Baroness Amos, Master of University College Oxford and a former UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs to discuss these issues.
The meeting is at Europe House courtesy of the European Parliament’s Liaison Office in the UK and open to journalists, academics and Europe specialists and guests via pre-registration by email to cas.jenkins@gmail.com.
